Dont Lean-In

Happy Christmas Eve day Y'all!!!!

At last, we are here 2014, came and is about to make a grand exit.  Don't just yet get too too carried away, thinking you have it figured out.  A lot can change still, everything can change before the new year comes to greet us.

So what to do?   Here is my take:

They say lean-in to life and love. Well, I say, open and surrender, that is the only way you will know exactly how you are to be transformed by the power of love and life so may live  your best and highest expression of life....

Much much love Y'all!!!!
...and, I truly thank you!

Visualization for Weight Loss, The Gabriel Method Guide to Using Your Mind to Transform Your Body

Visualization for Weight Loss

Tap into the power of your mind and use it to transform your body, and your entire life. Jon Gabriel knows first-hand how hard it is to find the right diet and lose weight. What he learned was that all diets and exercise programs were useless without emotional and hormonal balance – the keys.

Join Jon Gabriel, as he teaches the visualization technique he used to shed 220 pounds without restrictive dieting or deprivation. Examining the importance of visualizing, Jon takes you through the latest research on the power of the mind in order to show why this technique is so effective for weight loss.

With just a few minutes of visualization every day, you’ll learn how to:
  •   Break free from negative beliefs and patterns around food
  •   Reduce hunger and increase your metabolism
  •   Overcome the stresses and emotional issues that can lead to weight gain
  •   Rediscover the joy of movement
  •   Create healthy habits for life
  •   Eliminate junk food cravings and addictions
  •   Improve your sleep and increase your energy

All of which lead to natural, enjoyable, and sustainable weight loss. Jon also teaches you how to create your own visualizations that apply to your unique life. And then he walks you through a 16-week transformational program that includes both visualizations and nutritional guidance.

Visualization is the powerful technique that helped Jon drop 220 pounds without dieting or deprivation because it didn’t depend on calorie counting or extreme exercise—rather it changed his biochemistry and neural pathways. In turn, this helped lower stress and its associated inflammatory chemicals in his body, allowing him to lose weight easily and naturally.

The big challenge, Jon discovered, is not finding the perfect diet or exercise routine; instead, it’s convincing your brain that it’s safe to let go of excess weight, which you can do with visualization. When that happens, it’s as if your body actually wants to be thin. And as Jon says, “There is nothing easier and more natural than losing weight when your body wants to be thin.”

The 10/11 Getting Happy and Well for Christmas

I decided to take the 11 days before Christmas and give you each day, a fun, easy, lifestyle tip, as we arrive to the big day, and shortly after into 2015.  So that you may make this Holiday Season light, fun, and filled with life energy.

Today is Day 10/11.  Let's keep things fluid.  WATER.  Drink a lot of water, spread throughout your day.  Keep it simple.  Nothing less than 2L, and once that is good, set 4L as the daily aim of filtered pure crisp water.

Water helps you stay balanced, hydrated, aids digestion, flush out toxins, even lose weight, make you regular, and brighten your skin. These are just a few bonuses.

You know how they make cars, brief cases 'bulletproof'?  Well, make your life, environment water proof.  Plant a BPA FREE water bottle, or jug everywhere you are likely to show up.  Commit to emptying it every day.  Simple, just make it happen.

The 11/11 Getting Happy and Well for Christmas

I decided to share some easy, daily lifestyle tips with you, as we arrive to Christmas, in just 11 days, and shortly after into 2015.  So that we may make this Christmas and New Year Season light, fun, and filled with life energy.

Stress is among the top 5 things people mention they are experiencing most these days.  Most are simply stressed and stretched beyond limits.  They are drained, weak, lack energy, don't have time for anything.  Only thinking about adding another thing on top, makes them lose their marbles. What to do?
Move.

I know, you don't have the time.  Most people, including me, do not.  Especially not to exercise.  The only solution is prioritizing movement, putting it on the schedule.  Like you would a hair appointment, a doctor's appointment, kids' school play, and so on.

11/11 is MOVE

Move your body.  Move the energy.  Transfer it from stuck to expended.

Here are some ways I found worked to create time, and make it happen:

-Wake up 30 minutes earlier, before anything; just get it done
-Find a friend and commit together
-That treadmill or elliptical machine at home, dust it off, remove the clothes you piled on it (after all it is not a hamper-hanger), hop on for 15-30 minutes, first thing in the morning
-Instead of sitting at your work-desk, use a FitDesk, to make calls, Skype, etc, or when spending more time on the computer
-Have a ton of calls to complete?  Bundle up, and do some of the call while walking outside for 10, 20 even 30 minutes
-Identify the time period in your days, when the stress tends to climb highest.  Schedule lunch, or a 15 min break, around it.  Enforce every day, twice every day even, if needed, and take it outside of your work environment. Go for a walk, go outside, get fresh air, move your body, air things out.  When you return, all the to-do's will be easier to complete
-Don't sit in traffic while commuting to and from work.  Leave earlier or stay later, find a yoga studio near the office, do a class, avoid traffic drive when it is easier to commute. Or take the train, and stand at least half way

In closing, remember.  While it is ideal to have a regular exercise regime, when life calls for pulling out all stops, it is time to get creative. If you are unhealthy, stagnant, your thoughts, emotions, body, will all work as such too.  In turn, this same is repeated in your choices, your entire life, relationships and even business.  It will all reflect this.

Desire is a prayer answered

Good morning Y'all !!!!

I woke clear headed, in the silence and lovely breeze of this day.  I felt peace, space and clarity.  Knowing what I had to do.  Knowing it is the order of life that, to have something new, we have to part with something already known to us--part of us.

The greater the new  desire, life's longing, that wants to come through us, the greater that which is required of us.  There is no way out of this one.

Having taken a soul-step back, to leave space for everything and everyone.  I understand, I am not to want anyone to become one way, or another.  Rather respect their journey.  YES, I am a coach.  It does not mean I will push or force anyone onto a path they desire.  No.  That is not what I do.  You have to own your desire.  Find the way to say yes to it.  You have to find your way.  I am a guide, a guiding light.  A mirror for your becoming.  In which you are to find and reveal your truth.

I can't and will never force another person to do something, that is useless. YES, on the surface, you may appear to have achieved results when forced; but under the surface, you will have blocked the very life force, that you need to become the desired changes.

I continue on this path that is so solid-but it begs that we show up light, resilient, committed and courageous, ready for action that is real.  One that is allowing, willing to go through the fires that refine our soul, being and core.  THAT is how we become--anything we may desire.

Your Desire is your prayer answered.

Meaning

Everything happens.  The shape we form of it, as the meaning is, based on our premises, the filters of our inner world at a moment. Yes, even THAT is an ever becoming, ever forming entity.
We’ve all had experiences of moments of disappointments.  At times, when we wished things had turned out a different.

How to move on from them?  And do so in a fashion that is constructive, as opposed to leaves you feeling a lack?  Best way to move on to bigger and better places is by not-taking any aspect of the experience personally.  By being quiet at first, going INTO your body, to see how the experience feels.  Perform a whole-body, full-on, honest check-in.  Then get on to a new thinking and feeling place, where it feels better within.  That takes you to a place with-out that, matches how you want to feel.

Yogi

Ok here is a personal share.

I posted about  YOGI, the gas station attendant earlier this week, who made my day.  (see him on my #instagram http://instagram.com/p/pmFQWIAjKb/)
What a remarkable young man.  I interestingly, I met him last night, at a DIFFERENT gas station, one I never go to, but HAD to detour, as I was UNDER E !!!!!  Seriously....when will I learn.  But that is a whole different story.
I was SO surprised. It was late and I was on my way from running track for the first time (yup).  It brought great laughs and jokes to us, and when I showed him his picture, and told him I posted it on Facebook, he was SO excited.  Immediately, his other Indian friends, and fellow attendants at the gas stations, all gathered around us that, "#Yogi is now famous on Facebook...."  Wow.  My heart and spirit were churned at the sight, it was like a movie scene.  It made me feel humbled and so privileged to have lived the life I have so far all parts of it, and what it had shaped me into so far.

Well, I am not a Native to Canada ,I moved here some time ago and I KNOW what it is like to go somewhere you leap out to, because you HOPE and somewhere deep down, KNOW there is a chance for a BETTER LIFE.

Is it easy?  Not at all.
Is it simple?  Nope.
Is it full of challenges? Yes.
Is it always good? No.

There are so many questions and Yes/No's I could post here. But the point is, this young man and his friends, who work 7 days a week and 'dont have time for yoga' LOL ( I busted them) reminded me of the true value of humility, and what matters. The leap we take, and are willing to work for a better life, and while days, weeks, sometimes moths can go by, when nothing works out, when things are scary, dark and so on, there is a part of you who simply KNOWS.  THAT is the part of you that carries on.  The one despite all yoru crazy attempts to END and give up, wakes up, again and again.....

And you simply obey, you simply trust this part of you and carry on.   The triggers ARE part of your TEST.  The journey is part of your TEST, or the TEST is part of your journey.  How you take the tests eventually becomes your journey.  Will you give up?
Will you give in?
Will you stop?
Is there a cap on how many times?

Or will you continue your journey, the fight the battles?
Are you willing to lose a battle, or a hundres, so you ultimately win the WAR--the war of your old self, facing the one you are CALLED to become for the LIFE of YOUR DREAMS to be had.

Thanks for reading friends.  DO make friends with those crazy Indians at the gas stations, they are so much fun :) and teach us SO MUCH.

Green Means Anything Goes

Today  I will share something new I made.  This was officially my Post-workout green drink.  In reality, it can be Post anything Pre anything, as long as you have it.  I do prefer to have the green juice, or smoothie, on an empty stomach.  That can be first thing in the morning, or as I did today, after a workout.  This is, for best digestion and assimilation.

I mixed two different juices into one.  Why?  I don't follow an order in my creations, I follow nutrient content, and the purpose they may feed, and what I have at home, available. I also follow my body's intuitive cravings, and purchase produce as such.  So, for me, it is always different.  I believe it should be for everyone.  This is why I don't believe in telling people to use, 4 lettuce leaves, 5 spinach stems, 1/4 avocado etc , etc.  Do what you love, create tastes you enjoy, and are good for you.  Learn to become honest about what you are taking in, and get to know the reasons behind those, why you make your choices of food.

Food is your life force.  Food is your body's energy [re]source for it to renew and rebuild itself. Food is the life process fuel and source, your body will work from. So this is important, the key.

The new juice:  Two in One

First part, green juice. Used:
parsley
romain
celery
cucumber
ginger
Use as much as you want of each ingredient:

Second part, green juice. Used:
lemon
celery
apple
ginger

Use as much as you want of each ingredient:

Mix the two together:

Enjoy this cold, cool, refreshing, invigorating life-juice.

Got Energy?

If you are one who is likely to experience the afternoon slump, and are known to reach for some caffeine, and energy drink, or sugary snack, here is a great alternative.

Today, instead of reaching for the next cup of coffee, because you feel tired and 'need energy,' grab a glass of cold water.  It will energize you more, and you will feel renewed.
Bonus, even, your cells will thank you for it :)

Check out www.monikakovacs.com for more great tips and tools for living healthier and keeping your vitality in check.

Shiny Soul

Want glowing skin, and more?

Consider these easy tips:

WATER
Drink more water to allow for hydration, detox, proper assimilation and organ function. Which collectively will lessen stresses of the work our cells do ongoing.

VITAMIN D
Yes. The wonder drug.  Make sure this is Vitamin D3 form. Grab this from my portal: Vitamin D.

FAT
Incorporate more hormone-balancing fats into your diet.  Use a high grade, stand alone Omega 3 supplement, or one included in a complete daily multi vitamin pack. Food sources such as coconut oil, avocado, raw nuts and seeds that you can also soak.  Raw butter, organic grass fed ghee or egg yolks are also only some excellent sources of healthy fats.  High fat fish, salmon, mackerel, herring are a few high quality fish sources of Omega 3.

AVOCADO
Is also known as God's butter.  Very versatile and a daily part of my diet.

SUNSCREEN
I definitely recommend using a high quality sunblock at least SPF 15. Seek professional advice in picking the right one for you, and your family.  During the summer, and most of the year, I don't go outdoors without sunscreen.

SUNGLASSES
Protect your eyes as well, and well, see :)  It helps.

There are many more tips, these are only a few I consider 'must'

Above all, love your life.  Feed your Soul.  Do mirror work (YES!!!).  Find things, experiences, cultivate relationships that feed your life.  Release everything and everyone, who may cloud your experience.  Get outdoors, enjoy the weather, the sun, and take excellent care of yourself every day.

I write into you

I wrote something, I will cite below, as part of my message to someone special, I wanted to share with you, world.  Because, I am realizing this, in this moment, right now, I write to YOU, World, every day.

I don't write to anyone in particular, I write to the Grand Oneness.
I write to You, World, Universe, Eternity, The Grand Oneness.... Whatever you want to be called.  I want to share myself with you, like I would with my lover, deep, close and intimate. Present.
I write like that.  The tweets, the facebook wordages,
I write because that is my most naked way to express myself.
And I have this innermost yearning to unveil myself to the world.
I need to take it all off and show the purity of it all.
For the longest time, I was put down for this, hurt and taken advantage of.  Even labeled, stupid, too weak.
I have been laughed at, even what now looking back, abused, many times over.
But I still need to be open. I need to feel.
I come from the heart in everything I do.
My heart is my strength, my heart is my everything.
My feelings my emotions ARE my indulgence that cannot be removed or separated for me if I want to stay alive.
Don't let you think that I don't think or that I am not smart.
Boy, I am convinced I have one of the most brilliant Einstein-like minds out there that when left for its own devices would put anyone to shame.
What does kill me and works to destroy all this brilliance, is dishonesty, being hurt by those I love, care for, value, respect or otherwise hold in high regard.
Romantic love, oh boy, the heart break can shatter the best in me.
Being taken advantage of, you will never get back on the same page in my life, most likely never back into my life.
Thinking because I am a woman and attractive you have the free ticket to treat me like a piece of ass, while I have one, you will have just lost your dignity as man forever.
I love men, Gosh I LOVE men. Gentlemen. Polite, classy, courteous beautiful red-blooded men.  Who love women, this means not be dogs, rather those who value and adore femininity and hence beautiful women. This is my type, the rugged, open masculine, self-respecting Hero.
And I have good solid values.  So it is the Grand Trine :)  Emotions. Thoughs. Values.
When I make a mistake I feel terrible and ashamed.
When I believe someone I believe their words on face value,

I am old fashioned and pretty hard core.
I am intense, that scares most people off.
Intense when I am sensitive, intense when I am strong and want something.
I hate restriction, and hate being told no.
Because everything is possible and everything that has been given life via a sheer thought IS possible it exists so why hold life back?

This is my beauty.
This is what makes me the woman I am and am becoming.
This is my reality.
THIS is my truth.

Universe, I felt like this. Just now.
Universe, as always, I respectfully, and lovingly, I write Into You.

PS - My message for my friend was, 'Honey, You know when life inspires me? When it is real. That means sometimes it is fucked up, other times it is unbelievably delicious...and we live [FOR] the moments in between as our lives. in touch with it all.'

True Colours

....it is most liberating to live in  a place where you are completely open, uncovered.  The place your truth lives; uncovered. Yet I found it scares off the majority of people. The defences come up, the defences to protect their hearts, the place of vulnerability, the heart that has been bruised, even broken.
Once you live here, however; you live open.  You live FREE. You are open and transparent, hence you see into the truth of others in an instant. THIS is very scary for most, and makes one equally vulnerable. However, there is a certain level of sureness, peace and strength that awakens in that place of vulnerability, that nothing can break  Once you make your way to living transparent you will never go back to hiding.....

E-Squared

No matter at where you stand Re the 'Our Thoughts Create Our Reality' idea, E-Squared by Pam Grout, will be a treat.  I just received this book at the point in my life I am before major life changes.  Excited to embark on the journey of this #1 New York Times BestsellerDon't face reality. Create reality!

E-Squared could best be described as a lab manual with simple examples of proofs that reality is malleable.
Consciousness trumps matter. You shape your life with your mind. The experiments in E-Squared, show that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton's laws of motion. Get excited.  Prepare to be blown away--by your own life.

Taste your own capacity of Infinite Potentiality and see how you can manifest an unexpected gifts. The 9
E-Squared principles are:

1. There is an invisible energy force or field of infinite possibilities.
2. You impact the field and draw from it according to your beliefs and expectations.
3. You, too, are a field of energy.
4. Whatever you focus on expands.
5. Your connection to the field provides accurate and unlimited guidance.
6. Your thoughts and consciousness impact matter.
7. Your thoughts and consciousness provide the scaffolding for your physical body.
8. You are connected to everything and everyone else in the universe.
9. The universe is limitless, abundant, and strangely accommodating.

Try any of the nine easy experiments in this book to prove that there really is a positive, loving, totally hip force in the Universe that’s listening to your every word and that’s ready to rock your world.
