D e s t i n y

I can already see it
You know the one who is waiting for you
Like no one before
Right now longs for you
If he could fly
Would fly you away

Where you wouldn’t have to run from your past
Where your dreams would come alive
Where you don’t need to be afraid
To run to me far from everything

Then why would we keep this a secret
We have wanted this for thousands of years
We can choose now

Let your heart sing, listen, trust, and you will see
All your dreams, an instant, and will come true
Listen to your heart you don’t need to regret anything
The moment is here she’s been waiting for too long

All alone you wonder the streets, I am waiting
Alone I am waiting, free
I waiting for you
As long as I live, I am waiting for you
Such intense love
Such passion, the world hasn’t yet seen
Just trust me, it’s never been

Can you see it, the passions that call you
Sweeping through everything in her way
The heart helpless, as she battles the instincts--all in vain

Sometimes you cant escape your destiny
Sometimes everything you build; someone comes and shatters to pieces
Don’t fear the Universe gives us a second chance
Then why would we keep this a secret
We have wanted this for thousands of years
We can choose now

Let your heart sing, listen, trust, and you will see
All your dreams, an instant, and will come true
Listen to your heart you don’t need to regret anything
The moment is here she’s been waiting for such a long time…

All alone you wonder the streets, I am waiting
Alone I am waiting, free
I waiting for you
As long as I live, I am waiting for you
Such intense love
Such passion, the world hasn’t yet seen
Just trust me, it’s never been

Just trust me

52 weeks of bodily bliss: week 25: The glue that binds

I was at COSTCO yesterday and I kept passing this lady shopping while on her cell phone talking clear and loud enough for anyone to understand the content. She was quite over weight; anywhere form 60-100 lbs easy on her approx 5’6 frame.  What caught my attention was, how young yet weary and unhealthy  she looked, leaning onto her cart, slouching forward while yapping.  Her hair, skin and body showed obvious signs of dis-ease.

With whomever she was talking, they were talking about a third, how old she looked etc, and along the lines of that. This was obviously a relationship based not on well being, or truth.  Rather, what kept the ties strong was  the mutual enabling of one another, of staying in an unhealthy place in their lives, physical and non-physical realms.

This week I want you to examine your 5 closest relationships and ask yourself WHAT they are based on.
  • Are they built on trust, if not, what?
  • Are they based on criticism, or construction?
  • Are they based on growth, or destruction?
  • Are they based on love, or fear?
  • Are they promoting your well-being, or your dis-ease?
  • Are they promoting you being in shape (inside and out), or are they feeding the comfort of settling into an effortless,  mediocre existence?
  • Are they supportive of your dreams (no matter how silly), or do they just tell you to 'skrew it' and loose belief?
What you find in each of these relationships and answers, do they surprise you, and are they what you WANT?

If so celebrate each of these relationships.  If not, what will you do to change for the better.
An amazing book that can help you open up and go within is

No matter what you find, stay in gratitude for it all.  For they all ARE contributing to your greater good, they all shape an important part of you.  Commit to a life of only putting yourself into circumstances/relationships, that serve the best in you, and never be afraid to do the work that it takes for you to keep on shining.

Have a fun week, go within, but go outside and keep moving--daily !!!!

All my love,
Monika

52 weeks of bodily bliss: week 24: ICE ICE baby

ICEwater.

We all know we need to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day to boost health, performance, and even weight-loss.  What you may not know the colder the water the more calories you burn.

I.e. if you drink ice water instead of room-temperature water, your body will burn up to an extra 9 calories per glass.  If, drinking room-temperature water can burn about 16 calories per glass, you would put yourself to 25 calories in deficit per glass for ice water drank.  Even if you stay at your minimum 8, you are about 70 calories daily for no effort only benefit, 350 calories a week. In 10 weeks only changing THIS factor you can lose one full pound of body fat. I am in!!!!!!

Don’t forget, water is a MUST for all your bodily processes, including the ones that run your metabolism. If you're under hydrated, your body will underperform.  Not to mention when water flushes out fat deposits and toxins, it can up your energy levels…

Keep drinking and keep shrinking!!!!!
